We were the same way with little Pavin and both of us wanting a boy at first. And I totally relate to your comments with Billy and Layli and with Jim and Pavin. She is definately daddy's little girl. (Even with the stages she is currently going through, like the won't leave mom's side no matter what stage!) But it's totally true. Something about a dad and his daughter. I sometimes wonder how they will bond when she gets older. For me, my dad was one of my best friends. I miss him so much and definately consider myself to be dad's girl. And on the flip side to that with Palmer being our little boy it is totally different. I can't believe how different he is. Maybe that's why we have our "mommies little boy" term too. I enjoyed reading your blog tho...cause we definately experienced the same thoughts and Results!!!!!

I love your analysis. I totally hear you on how it might have been different with a boy. I keep asking Josh if, when our daughter falls (which she does a lot), he'd be as attentive if she had been a he. It makes you wonder.
