I used the rule of thirds, focal point, and space to look into to frame it…

I love it. It makes such a big difference when you use the rule of thirds. I know I can tell when I’ve taken a picture and when anyone else in my family (except for Leslie, who uses the rule of 1/3).
With the changes you’ve made, now the picture seems more alive! I’m not curious about what she’s looking at where as before I wasn’t. Cool!

What program are you using to make changes? Photoshop?

I’m using picassa, which I’m not crazy about because they take the rights to your pictures. Not that anyone wants my pictures, it’s just annoying that they do that. I need to get Photoshop.
Yeah, I just signed up for Goodreads last night! It’s pretty cool. I don’t know about cataloging my books though…that is a little dorky. What does Josh do?

What an amazing site Dena. I have really enjoyed reading everything. I just figured I’d comment on this one, because I can’t get over how darling your little girl is. I really wish we lived closer together to hang out with.

I read about the online picture rights problem a few times, most recently in USA Today. It’s crazy they can use your pictures. EVIL!
